Short of violent revolution you must work the system. Have patience. Paul has gotten some great advisors in the last week or so. Advisors who are not used to losing in the slightest bit. Let them do what they know needs to be done. Just keep up with Paul has coming out of the campaign. Tomorrow he has a speech at CPAC and we should know a lot more.
I feel that it is our fault, the grassroots, if he does not win. Ron needs to keep his calm, or people will think he is more crazy than the media has already portrayed him to be.We are all very passionate. It shows in our comments. We need to focus that passion on sharing the message with everyone we know. I had a friend the other day ask me who I voted for and he did not know who Ron Paul was. That was my fault. I didn't spread the message as much as I should have. That was one lost vote. Here is what we can all do to help him win and if we all did this he would:Become a delegateTell everyone you know about Ron Paul and why they should vote for him focusing on why it would benefit them because face it, people only care about what you can do for them.Write to your local media and tell them you want more coverage of Ron Paul.Write to your local and state government officials and tell them you support Ron Paul and why and that you would like for them to endorse him.Spread the word all over the internet and in print. If we all did this Ron Paul would win.
I don't think anyone is saying he should act like a raving lunatic. But unless he get out there and shows some interest in being elected president, he hasn't got a chance. Where was he yesterday? West Virginia! And West Virginia has what? 12 delegates? Even if he had gotten every one of them, he'd have 1% of the delegates he needs. Does this sound like a man who wants to be president?Dpidge2 is right. He comes over as some sort of ivy league professor. There is absolutely no passion. When he speaks, he might as be talking to a lecture hall. In order to win, he MUST show emotion, passion -- something. We may learn from professors, but we sure as hell aren't going to elect one as president. You say that it is our fault for not getting out the message. Horse Hockey! I've tried getting out the message & in every case, I've been told -- Oh, Ron Paul, he doesn't stand a chance. And how can we answer that when Ron Paul can't get 3% of the vote in most states & chooses to spend Super Tuesday in the most insignificant state he can find? Ron Paul can get votes and can get his message out if he gets out there and fights for them. And people won't consider him a lunatic for pointing out McCain's flaws or Romney's flaws. Hell, most people are praying that someone will stop McCain & Romney. Why do you think Huckabee is still in the race? But the bottom line is that he HAS TO DO SOMETHING because what he's been doing so far isn't working.
Romney is out. It's a 3-man race if we count Huckabee. I doubt he'll stay long. So it's really a race between Paul & McCain. He can get the job done IF HE TURNS UP THE HEAT ON MCCAIN!

In a brokered convention, those delegates will have a considerable say on the policy of whoever is selected.

Some of the people who need kicked do not have the anatomical equipment you mention -- but I have to agree with the sentiment.
