Universal Healthcare is nice but we simply can't afford it with 8 trillion dollars of debt and a war that keeps costing us billions of dollars per year. Even if health care is free, it won't do us any good when the only value the US dollar is for is toilet paper and to warm our stoves.

Would "War for oil", "Bush Lied", "Halliburton" and a plan for the war on terror consisting solely of "Leave Iraq" be the rational arguments you refer to? There is far more irrational screaming on the left these days. Sadly it wins elections better than reasoned arguments.

Ron Paul is right about our need to end our failed foreign policy; right about the failed war in Iraq based upon false claims; and right about not starting a War with Iran. This country needs sane, honest and knowledgeable leadership-- we need Ron Paul. We don't need more of the same. We don't need Mitt, Rudi, Hillary or Obama. Further, we don't need to listen to the spin of the controlled media which consistently shuns the true patriot, Ron Paul, out of fear that the people will actually hear the facts- the truth. We need a media whose customers are the people--- and not a media that is bought and paid for by corrupting special interests. For instance, the rigged debates favored who??? Not the people- not Ron Paul. They favored the insiders -- the same ones who ran the flag of blood red -- the same ones who lied to the people--- the same ones who put the cost of war on the peoples backs-- the same ones who still spread fear to keep us in line.

War Obsession ? War On Drugs ? War In Iraq ? War In Afghanistan ? War On Crime ? War On Poverty ? Why in the hell does everything have to be a War with these obsessed war mongers that are running our country? They have used the term War so much in recent years just to brainwash the American people into accepting war politics. It's time to stop them now. We pay for their wars but we don't have to. We should have stopped them thirty years ago. Stop them now and vote for Ron Paul in your primary election.
