Ron Paul was direct and honest, and he always backs up what he says with sources. The GOP did everything they could to keep him out of debates, to keep his supporters out of the primary elections, and to keep his delegates from exposing the many shortfalls of McCain. The MSM did everything they could to paint him as a crazed lunatic with almost no supporters, they would cite data from fixed poll questions they showed Ron Paul at less than 1% support, any online or phone poll that Ron Paul won was immediately dismissed as spammed and not very accurate. CNN would invite him to speak and print right below Ron Paul's face: "Blaming Americans for 9/11".Well now Ron Paul has raised millions of dollars and is using it to educate Americans. By running for president he has exposed Libertarian ideals to millions, and showed them that they do not have to pick between to candidates who are essentially the same. Because of Ron Paul the 2012 election is going to be a very, very different race... A decade of pointless war and endless occupation might also convince a few people to not vote for the Obama or McCain of the next election. It is taking a long time, but the message is catching on.

The United States is at a juncture here. We know we are in for a depression that will rival that of the 1930s. The question is, will we let the banker and political crooks make the same mistakes again and lead us into 10 years of misery followed by another world war, or will we listen to Ron Paul and actually put in place a permanent, long term solution that will allow the Untied States to prosper like no other country on earth? We need to reject the worn out "Progressive" solutions (i.e. regressive) and embrace Freedom, political, social, and economic.

"Until the big-government apologists realize the error of their ways, and until vocal free-market advocates act in a manner which buttresses their rhetoric, I am afraid we are headed for a rough ride."When he said this a year ago, he was crazy. Now, he's making perfect sense? Who knew!
