runbmd.blogspot.com— Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul has never voted to raise taxes or Congressional pay. He has always voted against USA PATRIOT Act, The Military Commissions Act, and the Iraq War.

I actually changed what I was registered as so I could vote in the republican primaries (was registered independent). So far as I can tell Ron Paul is about the only candidate I would like to vote for... and since I've been voting (1995) I've always had to choose the lesser of two evils in the presidential election... from his congressional voting record and his campaign platform it's clear he actually votes exactly how he says he'll vote, and honesty is something that really appeals to me. I do think we could use national health care, and I'm pro-choice... but at least Ron Paul is honest compared to the rest of the politicians in the capital and I think that would be refreshing to see in a president. That being said, I don't know if he really has a chance. The republican party doesn't want him as president, nor do the democrats... he doesn't like big government and both parties are for that these days... hell both parties are the same party for the most part with differing opinions on where to spend all the money they keep taking from the increases in taxes.I'd like to go back to the days where the democrats were honestly liberal, the republicans were honestly conservative, and the independents made up a mix in between... at least you knew WHAT you were voting for... now it's just arbitrary, all except for the fact that they completely lied about whatever platform they claimed to have... it's just a horrible mix of lies and deceit, I trust both parties the distance I could piss up wind in a hurricane.
Oh my god please stop your pointless political promoting you f**king sheep. He's as corrupt as the rest of them you damned imbecile. Honestly, how can you get excited about any REPUBLICAN candidate after the last six years we've had? Are you asleep you idiot? Wake the f**k up!Our country is reviled by the rest of the world, bankrupt, murderous and vindictive thanks to the disgraceful charlatan conduct. If you love this country you will insist on getting the current administration hung up to dry before you ever consider voting republican again. They have molested your freedom and played on your fears for the last six years and you're still sitting there painting f**king flags for them.My god no wonder it's so easy for the Cheney's and Bushes of this world to rape this country into the grave with morons like you blindly letting them crush, kill and destroy all for a buck or two.BAA!
Actually, deregulation and smaller government with a simpler taxation system, over the long term would reduce the ability of large corporations to piss everyone off, simply because they wouldn't be propped up by a government system that gives them breaks when they lose money and keeps them afloat. They do enough to alienate their consumers and they are then without....consumers. By having a large government with a complex tax system which allows them to write off losses, they are capable of staying in business even when they're bleeding money (say due to large boycotts of their products.)
No FDA? Let the market decide not to poison my food?Yeah, I want what I eat to have the same oversight found in Chinese cat food. You hardcore libertarians scare me as much as the communists.
If something gets digged it means the community on digg likes it, So no, people aren't pissing off the community they are just pissing you off.No one forced you to click on the story.
It's funny how people are attacking Ron Paul because he doesn't want universal health care. Most people that stroll Digg and the internet are fairly liberal, so obviously they wouldn't support Ron Paul. But the fact remains he is an honest politician, he stands by his principles, he is consistent, and he wants liberty. For those who value liberty, responsibility, and freedom of choice, he is simply the best candidate.
Ron Paul is out of touch with reality, as are many of his supporters. No one cares about this sniveling little weasel. He is doing the same thing that Democrats did in 2006....run on the anti-war platform. Big deal. Point is this....even though Americans dont approve of how this war is being handled, doesnt mean they want to cut and run. They just feel it can be handled differently. Paul doesnt see this. He has no clue, and why he only has 2% poll numbers.
