"We don't need to smear McCain to win this, we've got a solid campaign."The campaign had nothing to do with this article... your statement implies that they were involved, and that this is something more than a national publication taking its own biased editorial stance. I would argue that fellow POWs, GOP colleagues, the public record, and McCain's own memoirs are "creditable" sources though. (Well, maybe not the last one.) I do agree that it is obviously very biased, though.
He's not a national hero....he's a Vietnam veteran and war hero who happens to be in the national spotlight. He is also a womanizing tail-chaser, who technically committed bigamy by marrying Cindy before his divorce was finalized. His wife Cindy committed several felonies: she asked the MD working for her charitable organization to illegally divert the controlled narcotic Vicodin and then self-prescribed it so she could get high. McShame is shamelessly ambitious and is a bald-faced liar who is doing everything he can to be elected President, no matter how low or immoral his actions. Can you trust such an ambitious liar to be President???

I have a pretty good business partner that works in Michigan, and works with the Michigan Police in various capacities and has many friends in the force. I asked for his verification to the story before sending it out, and he verified it as accurate - see message.
