Yea, and fark and /.You see some article from 3 years ago suddenly pop up on all of them within a day and you have to go hmm. I haven't actually checked to see the direction of propagation but I'd digg a story on it.
So, that's really credible. I'd give out at least all of my server details to someone I think is someone in my mind because he has a free account on digg with his name. Wow, that's really convincing, I'll send you my passwords right now!
If you legitimately want to mirror the site, you could send an email to the provided address, to which Wes could reply with a compressed copy of the site as an attachment. You do not need to give out your server info.
