I'm a college student, and many of my classmates (including myself) would love to take construction and farming jobs, especially during the summer, but companies would rather hire illegals under the table than pay hard working Americans. I know farm work certainly isn't below me -- I would rather enjoy it.

then why phrase it like that? why mention skin color at all? can you imagine if a politician said something to that effect but instead of saying "white workers" he said "black workers." It would be plastered everywhere... the s**t storm would be incredible.
