I totally agree... they need to fix that and they also need to make it so that Finder time-outs/crashes don't mess up the filesharing on their 802.11n base station. Both issues are highly annoying and probably easy to fix.

That's because Home and End historically have been used to go to the beginning and end of documents, and that's what the Mac does. It's MS who invented their own use for the keys. Command-left arrow and Command-right arrow take you to the beginning and end of lines, respectively. Option-left and Option-right move you one word at a time.

Windows s**ts Thumbs.db and Desktop.ini files everywhere, what's your point? Oh add ehThumbs.db if you run MCE too.
