I remember him from dozens of video product reviews that I have seen on CNET.. he also does a huge amount of written reviews and answers a lot of viewer questions.
With the ice and rain they could have taken an old logging road and not known it, with the rain the roads get washed out. That happened to my dad and he wasn't able to get home for 3 days even though he was about an hour out of Eugene.
