This must have been the same Looney Toons I ran into one day in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I was there at the pet Smart on a Saturday morning. There was not much of a line, so I got ths stuff I needed for my dog and walked right up to an open register. That register was staffed by a high-school girl. She started ringing my stuff, and the phone rang. Se politely excused herself, and answered the phone. There was this nut case art the other end who lit into her about the Pet Smart TV ad that had apparently just aired. Apparently Fredericksburg was misspelled. The poor kid hadn't even seen the ad! Of course the local stores don't place the ads anyway, that's all done from the corporate offices! The local store often does not actually see the ad until the public does! All they see is a memo telling them which products will be in the ad, so that they don't run out of those items! I don't know if it was on a DC station, a Richmond station or a cable station. With Cable you get all of the above, with an outdoor antenna, depends upon where in Fredericksburg you are, you may get DC, Richmond, or some combination of the two! The next day(Sunday) I was watching something and a Pet Smart ad came along. Rather than flipping the channel like I normally do during commercials, I actually had to check it again on the DVR. That's how fast it went by! Sure enough, at the last about 3 seconds of the ad, where it listed all of the stores in the DC region, they had it spelled like Fredricksburg Texas.(sigh). It came and went so fast, you would have had to be a speed reader to notice it. Or you would have to be so bored you have nothing better to do than DVR Pet Smart commercials. How much you want to bet the ad agency that created it did a little copy-and-paste without checking to save a few seconds!? In any case, No one had any reason to light into some poor high-school kid over ONE LETTER that was on the TV screen for maybe 3 seconds, if that!! If I hadn't been as bored at that particular moment as I was, I would never have noticed ! All things considered this person needs to GET A LIFE!

Stories are like a dog park. Really who cares if they've happened before along as they aren't incessant.

The problem with sarcasm is it's only for the witty.
