And even the fuel did heat the steel up enough to make it softer, That woudn't be enough for the building to fall on top of itself. It would fall sideways given that the fuel didn't heat a perfect square of steel.And have you ever worked with soft steel. It steel retains its form unless you apply pressure. Unless it's heated enough, it doesn't turn into molten steel.
