inhabitat.com — wind turbine to inspire NIMBY sentiment from neighbors and city councils alike. Enter a striking new alternative energy concept by Mexican-born Agustin Otegui, who works with economies of a much smaller scale. He has conceived of a next-gen Nano Vent-Skin that sheathes structures in a shimmering solar weave studded with micro-turbines. The concept

It's just a concept. He's thrown together everything that sounds cool into one great hand-wave.I have a concept for flying pigs, but that doesn't mean much.

I stand by the 95% number. Your article supports the argument that water vapor is the dominate factor in the greenhouse effect. The 70% number mentioned in the article is how much of the known sunlight absorbtion is caused by water vapor, not the total contribution to the greenhouse effect.

The only meaningful consideration is how much solar radiation is trapped as heat by a given gas. If you read the article I linked to, you'll discover that they factored in the actual Global Warming Potential (GWP) of each greenhouse gas before they arrived at those numbers. 95% is the actual greenhouse contribution (not concentration) made by water vapor. All other gases are insignificant compared to that.Humans simply have no control over global warming or cooling. We must educate the politicians about this before they pass a completely unneccessary law or treaty that devestates an already weak economy.
