The mass of people who criticize the new controller are the same customer base that has allowed GTA 7 and Halo 4 and Spiderman 8 (yawn)... Doom 3, for that matter. The game industry IS currently dying. It might be up to Nintendo to softly land and return back this ship to that great arcade feeling that once was.On an ironic note: viva Soul Caliber III (10/25/05)!!!

I am definitely getting a rev as soon as its in stores. I am a Nintendo fanboy, but I really do think Nintendo's going to be great. The controller will be fun to fiddle w/, and nintendo has great games. I honestly think they will win.

Considers that these are some of the most influential game makers in Japan, their praise for the Revolution is definitely a good sign for Nintendo and the gamers in general. I can't wait until they actually announce what they will make for it.

The controller looks really awesome, what sucks hard is that a wide population of gamers (I.E. mindless XBox/Microsoft fanboys) will think it's the worst thing they've ever seen.

Nice to see all the fanboys are here.PS:"guys, this isn't going to be for the majority of you to use....This will be used by large corporations and banks to replace (or increase the redundancy of) their old tapes etc. The chances of you having something like this in your house is slim to none...a derivative of it....maybe. But it is VERYYYY unlikely."WTF?

Neo,The MS version didn't allow movement in 3D space, only side to side and up and down, similar to the EyeToy. Either way, they didn't have the guts to put it out.

The Revolution or, to give it it's proper name, Wii looks exceedingly good. I'm sure it is going to be the superior of the 3 consoles in terms of pure gaming enjoyment. I will definitely buy a Wii for gaming and perhaps an Xbox 360 as a supplementary console for the few generic titles that I enjoy and for use as a general media machine. I am sure the Wii will be able to sufficiently trounce the PS3, in the same way that the DS seems to be prevailing over the PSP; which will no doubt become even more apparent with the upcoming release of the DS Lite (though I am sure such statements will be contested by Sony fans). I will say one thing for Sony though - atleast their constant attempts to usurp Nintendo, however unlikely to succeed, encourage Nintendo to continue to be innovative and lead the gaming market in exciting new directions.
