gizmodo.com — Timex teamed up with Apple for this Ironman iControl watch, which is pretty much a standard workout watch with one major difference: It has iPod controls on it. You're able to control play/pause, volume up and down, and the go to the next/previous track on any iPod with a dock connector.

Wow, cool idea- being able to switch to the next song while at the gym without taking the ipod out of your pocket. Too bad it's so damn ugly.

Nike has their own watches coming out that will also work with the Nike+ system, so you only need one dongle. I just wish they would build in the ANT wireless protocol into all iPods for this sort of thing.
