crowdctrl.com — Tonight a group of about 50 Art is Resistance members, including the select few from last week?s A.I.R. gathering in LA, were gathered using a series of cellphone calls and directed to an abandoned warehouse in Los Angeles for a private resistance meeting and intimate live Nine Inch Nails show.

Exactly. He's said its the hardest song to perform live.

@imbetterthanuThanks for correcting the other poster. Just because the song starts off "Gave up..." doesn't mean that's the name. Oh yeah, sweet video. LA sucks you lucky f*ers. :)

13 year old emo kids aren't smart. Reznor is just that stupid. And whiny. God, how can a grown man have so much to whine about? His actual concerns probably revolve around getting the correct hair dye color. Gotta have just the right shade of black to cover up the grays that are popping up.

"This is what the music industry needs."totally, i was super indifferent to the new NIN album, i loved their old stuff, but could care less about the new stuff....until i started getting into the Year Zero stuff, and reading the different websites and unfolding a story about a not-too-distant future is not the just the future of marketing, it is the future of media. This makes every type of media; books, movies, music, seem so old fashioned....NIN has created a world and it's totally engrossing....great job guys.

I'm so f**king jealous, it's not even funny. As least the video of the concert and AIR talk was something. It's almost like I was there....except in a 4 inch box....surrounded by my cubicle walls at work....Rock, on Trent. But, I wanna play too!!

I should also clarify - I don't think the new album is completely terrible. Trent's still an excellent musician, and it can certainly be seen in some tracks.

cubbsd, perhaps I did come off too harshly. Some of the music on the album is very good - I'm more disappointed in it's presentation and content ... and especially the viral marketing of it.I can only assure you that my intention was not to "pick apart" his music to find flaws or belittle it for everyone, but rather my post was a representation of my personal opinion on the viral display as well as his message.Perhaps digg was not the best place to share this, and if that is the case, then I apologize. However, I do not feel I should be intimidated by critics or other avid fans to not share my view.

dude... that "marketing stunt" was not as it seemed... REznor probably orgainised s**t to be pumped through the filters.... think bout it... Never been to concert before and walked out stoned and wondered why? small wharehouse... swat team??? you know the feds hate commies and probably after you stupid kids??? AIR is not all that cool dudes... Reznor is a fag... remember that.... he s not yo dad kids.... he just wants yo cash...

The music and the message...Reznor states that "art is resistance". Has "art" got what it takes to challege the system ?I am not alone. I stand for something. The tv show I do for free in LA stands for something: to be alternative media, a voice of dissent, a forum for those with something to say but no where to say it, as well as a showcase for unsigned bands. No one on this board denies: NIN IS REVOLUTIONARY. I applaud a complex viral strategy to spread the word and the message that warns against a police state, inspiring others to be conscious and WAKE UP! Afterall, "thoughts are contagious". myspace.com/laundergroundtv
