media reports 80% what the PEOPLE want them to because they simply sell ads. that's their main goal in reality, to sell ads and get profit. then, they may add their own political or economic propaganda for own gain. but, in the case of hilton is almost certainly what (some idiot) people want to watch. probably to have something to chatter about while watching tv.

Did nobody see the bag of what appears to be pot fall out of Willie's jacket and then Mika holds it up briefly? When she grabbed the lighter, Jow says, glad she didn't find what else was in there, and Willie replies, exactly. After handing the lighter back to Willie and the wadded up script, Joe grabs the wadded up script and sniffs it- that was a signal to Willie to put his bag away. You have to watch closely. Unreal.
