in the interest of fairness, the story was #1 in the top ten for the better part of the day. i believe no special treatment was paid to the story at all, their algorithm was followed in that it moved off after whatever preset amount of time.

A burning puddle of jet fuel on the ground will not produce enough heat to melt steel.Lets examine how steel is produced however. One common device is called a basic oxygen furnace (or BOF). In a BOF, high pressure oxygen is added to the combustion to force the fuel to burn much more rapidly, raising the temperatures past the melting point of the iron. Now, how much more oxygen is added to the reaction if your fire is burning at the bottom of a chimney say, about a 1/4 mile high?

Rudy Giuliani needs to answer to US law, and to the extent that he is an accessory to the mass murders in Iraq, Giuliani should stand before the International Criminal Court, alongside the rest of the Bush crime family, his PNAC buddies, and other world leaders who didn't stand up to Bush. The Nazis tried this once, but some of them got away. Let's finish the job.

Has Osama bin Laden been indicted yet for the 9/11 attacks? If not, why not?

Because the good ol' Bush family does business with the Bin Ladens, that's why he wasn't indicted. I don't think they'd be too happy if we went ahead and arrested / killed their son Osama. I think it would hurt the U.S. economically in terms of the trillions of dollars in business the U.S. does with the Saudis (oil). It's pretty messed up. I guess that might be one reason we're in Iraq, trying to get a hold of their oil and be independent from the Saudies. Then we have to consider all the thousands of people who have died for that goal (Americans and Iraqis). It is a big tragic mess. And all for a scarce resource which is running out. Sometimes I think we should get rid of the whole money system all together. Too many people die. Or at least get rid of oil and come up with new technologies instead of putting the country in a huge deficit that will last for generations. Money is great and all, but sometimes people in power have to let it go for the good of mankind.
