msnbc.msn.com — If Alex Rodriguez isn?t interested in talking contract with the New York Yankees until after the season, and the Yankees won't deal with him if he opts out of his contract, the Boston Red Sox could end up as the big winner ? in the race for A-Rod. "Lucchino has never stopped wanting him," a source told the paper.

in other suprising new the red sox said the would sign the pitcher jesus christ if possiblecome on they would so sign arod in a heart beat, even if he was a yankee, and since theres no salary cap, spend all the money you want.and last, arod in fenway? he'll break barry's record his first year there and we can finally get barry bonds out of the news for the first time in the last 3 years

Bandwagon? haha who's more dedicated? the fan who is a Yankees fan as a kid, knowing they win World Series left and right, or the fan who is a Red Sox fan as a kid, knowing you're supporting a team who hasn't given a World Series to your grandfather? We came into our own and won a series (i mean, granted, with a little help from you ;) )and yeah, we picked up a bunch of bandwagoners, but the core of the Sox fans are a group of hardcore fans. By the way, the curse is reversed, so get on your waiting shoes.

No thanks. In the words of a Kenmore Square street vendor T-shirt: "A-Rod: Mister April, Miss October"

I think I speak for all red sox fans when I say "We don't want him"He's not going to help the team. He's a damn parasite.I'd rather have Lowell back.If we're getting rid of Manny for anyone, I vote Vlad Guerrero.
