kutv.com— Hailu Kidane Marian was working with members of his religious group, selling religious materials door-to-door in a Northwest Miami-Dade neighborhood, when the bolt from the blue struck him down.

To all the ones that made ignorant comments about the religious guy hit by lightning:First of all, I got to say that I knew Hailu personally since I went to the same university (Antillean Adventist University) that he did. He was a great person, always nice to everybody, a good christian (Seventh Day Adventist), never judgmental of others, and always concern about others. Unfortunately a completely different human being than most of the ones that had wrote their ignorant comments here, bashing him and God for his unfortunate situation. It bother me a lot when I read this comments because I wonder if all of you had made the same comments if it had been one of your loved ones. All of us, including me, tend to blame God for everything bad that happens; but who are we to understand God's ways and why these things happen? Instead we should be grateful that in our actual spiritual condition this didn't happened to us, and we should rethink the way we live our life, since today we are here, tomorrow who knows what could happen!I know that is easier to try to be cool in this site and try to fit in by making ignorant remarks or jokes about his misfortune or bashing God for what happened to him, but at least he died trying to make other people's life a better one; how would it be when we die? We should think how thankful we should be that we are still alive and that each day is a new opportunity that God give us to get our life on the right track. One thing I know for sure, that I'll never forget that great human being that I had the honor to meet at the university. Hailu, you will be missed!
