sfgate.com— Mark Morford, cultural essayist extraordinaire: "It might be the end of the world's most phallically sad SUV. But has the damage been done?"

It's a good thing I already bought mine. I look forward to using hundreds of gallons of gas in the future. I've decided to do all of my driving in honor of this article. Everytime a liberal condescendingly instructs Americans how to act God kills a kitten.
This is a horrible headline. Sure, the H2 will probably stop selling soon, but the H3 is anything but dead. They're selling like hotcakes right now and are pretty much an ultimate alternative to jeeps. No way is Hummer dead.
The vehicle is like a typical Republican - LOUD, OBNOXIOUS, IN YOUR FACE, and INEFFICIENT....Nothing like putting $75 in the tank just to take the kids to the mall....It's an Army Vehicle for people who feel weak and need to speak through the size of their car - And remember the old adage, the bigger the vehicle, the smaller the penis....
@KayIslandDrunkIf you feel that is necessary to get a single vehicle that covers all your needs, great. And if you can afford it even better. However, remember that gas prices are expected to only go up this year. Just bear that in mind when buying the 14mpg SUV vs the 40 mpg commuter car. Life is about trade-offs. I chose the 40mpg commuter car and renting when necessary. If you choose the SUV, that's your choice, just don't complain about the cost of commuting in that same SUV or ask the government to please work to reduce the price of fuel.
I love it how the religious and republican members of media consuming society get all indignant when a story that isn't PRO conservativeness or pro christianity gets into the news. I'm tired of hearing all the right wing news. If you try and ignore the other side of the story, that doesn't make it go away. And this isn't meant as a direct shot at you PB, just that I personally feel like everywhere else I'm getting the opinion of Conservative Christians, and their outdated, closed-minded, stale ideals have worn my patience thin. That's why I get really angry when they complain that the other side of the story gets run sometimes like they're thinking 'shhh, don't let them know our perspective isn't the only one! we've hidden that fact so well for so long, you're ruining all our hard work!'I agree he was probably a bit too leftist in the article, but I liked how the article was so blunt and full of spite you couldn't ignore the point. He drew a relevant anology and gave an accurate description of current society.
WHEW!!! When I saw the headline, I thought the topic was blow jobs(hummer of a different sort), I wondered, how can I get back at them for passing a law against me gettin some good head. I could stop eatin pussy, NAH!! that isn't gonna happen. It was becoming a dilemma and I had no answer. What a relief it was only an overpriced, underequipped piece of Capitalist fluff.

Link to a source? No. Then why should we believe that a prius is more harmful to the environment?

Damage? If you don't want one, don't buy one. Simple.
