would've been interestin if they went for a more classic look rather than an up to date one. they havent done a retro super hero movie and i think thats kinda a shame cuz something like that could be pretty fun to watch.

That's not exactly true. If you look throughout the Micheline/Layton runs (the definitive Iron Man IMHO), particularly the post-alcoholic days, Tony is in pretty good shape (and since the suit then was more of a flexible mesh that polarized when powered up, the physique was Tony's). He's not just an alcoholic, but a guy with a severe health condition (bad heart) who was really trying to give himself as much of a fighting chance, through both science and physical fitness.
