In South Korea, you have to give your social registration numbers to any popular websites to sign up for it. a lot more pain in the what hole. Fact. and of course it's South. kekeke.

I have been using this for years! They haven't updated their site in a long time, and a lot of sites now don't let you sign up using a dodgeit account. Digg is an example.

@BlocActually, Gmail _does_ recognize the dot (.).if you have my.name@gmail.com someone else can register myname@gmail.com and not get each others mail.Google is just smart enough to send your.name@gmail.com and yourname@gmail.com to the same address as long as one of them is not yet registered.
