gonintendo.com— "During a television interview, Reggie said that he has done everything possible to try and get Rockstar to bring a GTA to the Wii, but at the end of the day the decision is Rockstar?s."

GTA:SA and GTA3 have far less in common than GTA3 and GTAII. That "lack of innovation" BS is getting old.Not that I feel any argument is worth it, since some people hate GTA just for being GTA.
I don't think the Wii is technically capable of handling the next generation of GTA. I think rockstar will attempt to squeeze the most out of 360's and PS3's hardware.Feel free to digg me down for stating my opinion fan boys. :)
Why innovate?Ok you say the series might be getting old, and repetative. if theyr still selling games, why change? - If it aint broken dont fix it.Also - im not trying to start a flame war or anything, but the 360 and ps3 version would have pretty much identical engines (ok i think the 360 one will be better), but they would have to make a completely new engine for the Wii, and if they dont think theyr target audience is a Wii buyer, it could end up as a loss...
RokStaar Announces Grand Theft Yoshi: Mushroom Kingdom!"Grand Theft Yoshi will feature an open, sprawling world where you have access to more than zero drivable vehicles, including Yoshi, and will be able to fly via the Raccoon Suit. Featuring more than zero weapons, including the Fireball Throwing Flower, a completely destructible brick environment, and a host of gangs to battle, such as the Mushrooms, and Turtles, and the Koopas, Grand Theft Yoshi promises to be a hot selling shootoff/sequel to the Grand Theft Auto series."Also in development for the Nintendo DS, Grand Theft Kart."

I own the Wii, but I would never buy GTA for it. I don't want scaled down graphics and having to adjust to the new control would suck.

All I have to say is if GTA comes to the Wii there better be plenty of baseball bats and chainsaws...
