arstechnica.com — The war on music piracy takes a ridiculous step. You won't spend any time in jail, but you'll certainly feel like a criminal once the local record shop makes copies of all of your identifying information and even collects your fingerprints just because you want to sell some music back.

@fluffy"Ihr sollt besser Deutsch lernen. Geht sofort zurück zur Schule!""Sie sollen/Ihr sollt Deutsch besser lernen. Gehen Sie/Geht sofort nach Schule zurück!""besser" is supposed to be a modifier for the verb, not the noun. Time, manner, means, place. How are they learning German? They are learning German more properly, hence "Deutsch besser lernen," instead of "learning the German language which is better". Better than what? Is there another German language which is worse? Also, even if you were to use it as an adjective, you have to give it the proper conjugate stem. Neuter accusative with no preceding def./indef. article would be...."besseres Deutsch," I believe. I'm not sure on the use of "back to school," but your usage seems to imply returning to a physical, geographical location, rather than the specific building of the school to which you then use an indefinite article to refer. I'm assuming that usage is similar to "go home" and you should use "nach Schule gehen." If you are using "zurückgehen" as a separable verb, the prefix must end the command clause.Ja, ich bin einen Grammarnazi. ;) Meine Entschuldigungen.

HAIL THE MUSIC AND FILM ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA! BOW TO THE M.A.F.I.A.!Its ironic- the more the RIAA tries to get people to stop piracy, the more people want to pirate.Go figure.

Hmmm... CD re-selling becomes uncomfortable. Buying CDs is expensive. CD quality is poor. CD format is old and worn out, much like the corner prostitute. Does the RIAA improve the situation by improving the process and motivating us to buy new CDs?UseNet downloads and eMule are easier and faster than buying from the store on my street corner. I know where I'm going.

Well, regardless think about this:If the sale of guns were as regulated and onerous as the sale of used CD's, Wayne LaPierre and all the NRA Stormtroopers would be down in Tallahassee burning down the Capitol dome. What does it say about the priorities of the Republican Party (FL's legislature is 75% GOP, and the scary far-right Neo-con type who brought you the Terri Schiavo mess) when they treat CD's as a greater threat to society than the sale of automatic weapons...
