Nobody seems to realize the practical purposes this has. We can disarm the tirggering mechanisms of bombs by burning right through them. Provided we can track right we can shoot straight through the guidance package of any missile. This has potential. It wasn't designed so you could have fun melting CD-Rs. Lasers are the future, they are surgical and deadly.
