These are major corporations, even one government department. They would all have top Security Software installed. Looking at the Virus Total trace, not one of the major security products appears to offer protection against this information stealing trojan. Taking the author's comments you have to wonder if any of these organizations even know they have been compromised. Assuming they have indeed got top products installed, what more can they do, except ask their vendor's why they are paying $5BN a year to be protected from exactly this type of issue. I suspect this is more common than we'd dare to imagine.
