advocate.com — What would you do if you received an anonymous, cryptic message that referred to your sexuality? She researched the mysterious sender and discovered a frightening web of bigotry, veiled with aliases and riddles.

The duality of the bean on the toilet seat is something to truly consider.

Um, yes. If you'd presented any nerd with "hey, google this word, then find out who's posting it online..." It'd be pretty damn easy if the person posting had ANY sort of contact info or other info up. In his case, he had several accounts, and several websites. Where exactly was this difficult?

That sucks! If it makes you feel any better, I was laughing my ass off when I saw you redirected it to his site....Classic.

How long before a Wikipedia entry?

It's true, I'm a chick, and I go to Grinnell. The http://[oneileri] thing would make sense to anyone who goes to Grinnell since it refers to our school's private blogging system ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GrinnellPlans ), but no one else can access it so making it a real link is pointless. I'm just very interested in this story (still being on campus and all) and have been reading/talking about it enough that I've come to some conclusions. Sorry to disappoint.

I just wanted to elaborate that he never denied, etc. on the various old boards that were being swarmed by recent digg / me-fi comments. . ..obviously in the above he apologizes to Sarah Aswell, buried in the many tiers of his (delusional) excuses . . .

Amazing. I've never paid so much attention to this before.

I really enjoyed Sarah's articles too, until I started examining them. I found no less than eleven factual problems with her article. Is "Richard" really as psychotic as he seems? What was Sarah's motivation? I've outlined my findings here: http://saveourskyline.livejournal.com/1127.html

Good article! Check this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDjtVS9iaDA and find out your secret by your own, not others.
