"Seriously, RATM getting signed to Epic was the biggest irony of the 90s."Depends on their contract. If an artist is big or popular enough, the label will bend over backwards for them. For example, Nine Inch Nails' contract is up with Interscope when the follow up to Year Zero comes out in 2008. After that, Trent will either form his own label, or use the band's popularity to get a contract that's on HIS terms - and trust me, he'll get it.RATM might've been on Epic, but they aren't stupid. I'm sure they worked out a full right to creativity clause in there along with a few other goodies.Big label isn't always bad (aside from being associated w/ the RIAA). The contracts that f**k artists over are bad. You'd wanna sign to a big label so you can get your work to as many people as you can. They would probably be able to do that on their own, but it's hard to say since so much promotion and marketing comes directly from the label. And in these days, that's how people get informed: ads.

i hope Rage doesn't make an album JUST about bush...what made them so great was that they were pissed at everybody...both democrats and republicans

"If you go platinum, it's got nothing to do with luck, it just means that a million people are stupid as f**k"

They played well and I was pumped before they went on.But the sound sucked. It wasn't loud enough for me.And I'm sorry, Zach looked kinda bloated. All in all I give their performance a B+

For you people livin' in a sweet established nation, RATM probably only spitting s**t, generating dreams unlikely to come true. I mean, you are establish, why do you need a f**kin revolution anyway? But from where i'm typing(indonesia), those words commin out from De La Rochas mouth was as real as this monitor i'm starrin at. Yes, people still running with machetes here. Yes, the forces burn crosses some times. Yes, there are many library rubbled. Yes, the oil still sucked by the vulture and bald eagle. The Pinta, The Nina, and The Santa Maria still lurking on our shore, try to steal anythings. And hell yes, there are to many mothers cries for their lost or killed Tom Joads. I'm not saying that listen to RATM could make difference, but it did reminds me of the rotted country that we are. And it did reminds me that there is changes waited to be done...
