that doesn't even make sense.

Art is unique in that it is impossible to know it's value without experiencing it. But those who truly value it should feel compelled to compensate the artist in some way. This dynamic is at odds with capitalistic views.

Nothing beats Okay Computer. 1. OK Computer2. Kid A3. In Rainbows4. Amnesiac5. The Bends6. Hail To The ThiefWhat merits them with the reputation of "best band today" is the fact that all these albums are 9/10 or better.

Is it wrong that I want to watch it now?

More good reasons to hate the Music Industry and the RIAA, yet better reasons to support the artists and to hope to see more releases from independent labels ...

I'm not to keen on Radiohead myself, I like singing some of their songs on SingStar as they are so weirdly high pitched and it's quite a good challenge to try and get the right note, but find a lot of their music too depressing to listen to.But I really like how they are going at the RIAA. Hopefully they'll also attack the PRS because the PRS have killed artists in the UK with their recent stance against YouTube, and denied everyone in the UK the right to see their favourite artists music videos. The artists have a free place to advertise their videos on YouTube many of whom also have their own YouTube account and so have given their permission for their videos to be on YouTube to have their music advertised. But because the PRS stepped in now all artists aren't allowed to advertise their own music anymore on YouTube, and I wonder who controls the copyright - the artist/recording company or the PRS/RIAA, at the moment it looks like the PRS and the RIAA are abusing their power with regards to the copyright and destroying the music industry themselves. So well done to Radiohead for going against them. A few months ago as well I worked as bar staff at a Radiohead concert and was so surprised that none of the items could have names on them because Radiohead didn't agree with all this corporate branding. I'd never really got into Radiohead but I really respect them for how ethically motivated they are as a group (in addition I noticed all the t-shirts they were selling were all recycled). Radiohead seem to have a very similar attitude to other groups, like U2 and Chumbawamba and even though I don't like Radiohead's music I really like their attitude, so hopefully they continue to be a very successful group.

I spent that $80 to see them too, and if you're a fan then yes it really was money well spent.

Well, I'm off to go buy some albums. Radiohead just made it on my "Do Not Download" list.

Wow, Epitaph. Just wow. I don't know what inspired you to put that pathetic thought into words.

Idk what inspired me to write that 5 months ago, lwoodnj. I suppose I thought I would use the connotations of the word "ex-girlfriend", along with the negative comments made about a major label and the unique coincidence of my situation to inspire a light chuckle in someone that I did not know. What inspires you to say hateful things to strangers on the internet?
