The fact that there may actually be a twin star to the Sun (with astounding consequences for us) and we don't know about it amazes me. :-OI had already read Muller's book. I still find the subject fascinating.

I've read tantalizing bits and pieces about the twin sun hypothesis for years, and about possible cycles of (lesser) destruction that are far more frequent that every 26M years. Pleased to read that some are still pursuing the topic.

What an interesting article. It really made me think about how ignorant we are regarding this dangerous cosmic bombing and that we may be very close to the next big hit.
