guru3d.com — You take a large PCB (printed circuit board), slap two 4870 processors and a bridge-chip on there and call it a Radeon 4870 X2. It's surely not the most elegant method of getting a graphics card in the high-end segment, it is however as this preview will show you, a very effective one.

AMD user from 386 processors, and ATI from Radeon 9000 series... Just glad to see the REAL performer here! Now it's the time for aggressive marketing campaign, show those people that there ARE better cards than Nvidia! There are some people who DON'T EVEN KNOW ATI cards exist (no kidding)!

I am so glad to see Nvidia getting kicked in the pants. They played fast and lose with prices once the competition was removed. I run a 8800GTX sli setup right now, but just couldn't justify spending over $600 on a single card solution. Just not real!Well guess what... my money for the upgrade will go to ATI/AMD this time around, if for nothing else to keep the competition alive and well!
