There is no way this is true. Nintendo has pretty stringent agreements that studios/publishers have to agree to before they can get dev kits.

So? As someone pointed out earlier, you can hardly develop a "real" game with one dev kit. So a smaller company signed the agreements and bought a few, and Nintendo slips them another because they think it'll help them make a better product. Huzzah.

@jer2eydevil88speaking of RTS's, could you imagine using the nunchuka control stick to move around the map, while using the wiimote like a mouse to point and click on units in something like Starcraft? Also, with the wifi you have online gameplay, and if you really love your hotkeys, maybe you could use something similiar to gestures in firefox, hold down a button and draw a small quick symbol.
