torrentfreak.com — Until recently, the recording industry were committing publicity suicide by routinely issuing legal threats to file sharers. Now, they seem to have changed the routine, going for fewer, but bigger targets. The goal is clear: if you own the Internet, you don?t have to worry about pirates ? or anyone else.

@ mabsark Exactly, (almost since they don't release it on IRC, they communicate trough that) which means they don't appreciate people leaking releases onto p2p and yes they do contain sensitive data, what about nuke wars and stuff like internal news for them? I would say thats sensitive data and as for the network the content was created for, the point of that is that people from scene can enjoy the content and in most of nfo's you can read the warnings about the stuff being leaked and groups bitching about it which means they only want the releases to say within their network and not for everyones intertubes.... on scene servers your group gets credits for the stuff they upload, meaning if u upload a 100mb music video your group can download 100mb X w/e number is set. clear enough?

"Getting paid big bucks means making a huge profit by overcharging for a product or service.Getting paid big bucks is essentially stealing from the public. Why do you think that you deserve to be able to steal from us because you entertain us?"What sort of leftist, marxist bulls**t is this?

Who says I am 'against' people who create content? Surely I am one who creates content. Why do you feel people who create content are entitled to profit no matter how good or bad the content is ? I would entertain a conversation on copyright with you, any time, day or night to show you the other side of content. Content, not for profit but for the sake of creating More content. Want to have a go at it ? Being against copyright is not being against the creators.

i mean yea we would all have to boycott the internet and create a new infrastructure to fill the gap, but i have a hard time seeing why this is so bad? its the isps right to do what ever they want you are using their service, this just seems like a wake up call to me to get a new locally hosted communication network in the works, and let the cooperation's do what ever they want with their now worthless internet

I never said porn.I'm asking you, Eleete, if profit was not the motivator in creating a movie and spending 200 million to create it, then what is the point of spending 200 million? To lose money?
mabsarkMay 2, 2009
@MrUploadsWhy would a movie cost 200 million to create?Could it possibly be that some actors are paid rediculously insane amounts of money? There is absolutely no need whatsover for spending $200 million creating a movie, so if the movie does not create a profit, tough s**t. Maybe next time they wont spend $50 million on hiring 1 actor.Who are you trying to bulls**t anyway that you're a big porn producer, who's being robbed by pirates. This is the internet you stupid ****, and I call you a lying prick, and back this up with:<a class="user" href="http://www.slutload.com/u/mruploads/">http://www.slutload.com/u/mruploads/</a><a class="user" href="http://www.adultray.com/uprofile.php?UID=2436">http://www.adultray.com/uprofile.php?UID=2436</a><a class="user" href="http://pacoporn.com/viewProfile.php?user=Mruploads">http://pacoporn.com/viewProfile.php?user=Mruploads</a><a class="user" href="http://www.pornfan.com/user/mruploads">http://www.pornfan.com/user/mruploads</a>

Way to prove my point. People under the age of 25 without a full-time job represent the majority of people who use TBP (or people in lower income brackets), that's the issue I'm addressing, no DElusion of grandeur. When the arguments posed by that group is simply "f**k the RIAA", yes I want them removed since they are obviously incapable of critical thinking.
