I don't often digg dupes, but the more often this makes it to the front page the better.

LOL, 5 minute hate, and still going strong. You 'people' will deal with the likes of the RIAA and similiar companies forever, since you get to vent all your pent up teen-like agsnt on a annonymous forum like digg, and think it actually makes a difference to anyone. :-)And like I said, legal prowess of 14 year olds... You obviously have no clue what she's even suing over, or what it DOES mean if she wins. Hint: It won't bar the RIAA from protecting their IP in any way whatsoever. If anything, it'll be a hit to programs like Kazaa that obscure the identites of those sharing. Also, I'm sorry that my IQ is over that of cooked salami and I'm not blinded by anti-RIAA zealotry. Why most of you hate them, I'll never know. You don't give a damn about the artists, I guess it's the cool anti-establisment crowd uprising again. They aren't shining beacons of morality by any means, but this woman should be suing her ISP for wrongly fingering her, and I have no clue how you can file RICO charges. I'm pretty sure that's a DA issue.

She should set up a website and post the emails and other written discussions. That would make for some good reading.

I really don't care if this is a dup story when it comes to the RIAA. How many times do we have to hear that they are misusing their power? I do not condone file sharing, but I do condone the practices that the RIAA is trying to put into affect to stop it. I'm doing what I can to forward this article to the EFF!!
