Really, I think we need a global / world boicott campaign. 1 week or 1 month of total audio/video buying abstinence, to send to this companies a strong message in the only language they undestand: money. To give good visibility to the action a site will be probably needed with pre made banners & links for other sites, but also PDF ready to print, in various language, to be sticked on the walls of school, universities, waiting room, commercial center, everywhere.I know something similar has been already done, but it's probably possible to do it better, with a greater number of people.
People are hijacked, yes. But the Kazaa accoutn that shares the files is NOT the same exact username that the "victim" uses for several different websites. And the music does not match up PERFECTLY with the eclectic tastes of the "victim" as shown by her music folder which she freely admits is hers. This is not a case of just her IP was shown to share the files. The username being hers is the key. You would have to beleive that someone is trying to FRAME her. And that is absurd.
so all the people who are annoyed by this, who all pirate music and don't buy it, will not buy music for a week...think it through kiddo,. if you are not buying music, then you have lost all influence you will ever have on the music business, its as simple as that,
