Sounds like the only way anybody can change the RIAA's business strategy is to gather a slew of lawyers together and convince a judge and jury that what the RIAA is doing is extortion.
Well they relies that trying to sue individual's does not work.Kid's don't scare.End uses don't have money to pay these fines no matter how minor.Lawsuits cost's the RIAA a lot of money, time and bad press. So they seem to have started going at this thing via the back door.knocking out file trading software.knocking out torrent sites.Trying to beat up on usenet providers.Trying to get laws in place that automatically fail over on there side rather than the consumers. The want everything filtered. They don't want public wifi. They want to get some type of stupid 3 strikes law on the books. If they can't get control over you they want control over your internet. The need to F-ing die really.
if you believe the sound was "missing" for so long you were looking in the wrong places. "never again" sounds just like their other songs. the fact that you put them next to names such as Ozzy, Maiden, and Dio (RIP \m/) is insulting to them

they're unlikely to run out soon considering they're backed by the scum of the record companies, such as Sony et al

You missed the point. After the RIAA stopped filing, the overall number of copyright lawsuits significantly dropped.
