I'm still able to run Office 2007 Beta 2, which expired almost a month ago. All that I had to do was set the system clock back a month. I would think Microsoft would make it harder to do things like that, but I guess they didn't care much because it was still only a pre-release version.

I'm annoyed by two levels of ignorance. First, as someone has said, this is a BETA platform. At some point you should realize that the version you run will no longer work, and eventually you will not be able to access your files. If anyone loses any data because they did not upgrade in time, they're just idiots. On another note, I can't believe Microsoft isn't giving the BETA testers any discounts. They're the ones who took the time to find the bugs prior to release. They should receive some type of compensation for their contributions. Nothing huge, but 10-25% off sticker price would be appropriate.

All Microsoft beta's have time lock out, so this isn't anything new!!!
