Apparently, you don't know the history of the social security number. Perhaps you should spend a little time looking at that. You know, so you actually have an idea what the problem is.
stop being so selfish, ME ME ME ME...its not always about being benificial to YOU. there are time and cases where it is better for the coutry and people as a whole. As I said before, privacy, how is this any different then what is going on now and the past 20years. ID theft.. please , so much propaganda -- ID theft is not that common -- especially if your not a complete idiot with your information. Oh wait, excuse me...its america, were america, please spoon feed me and give me instructions to my life...i'm a complete IDIOT.. like most of this country
you are only forced to verify yourself with a name, address and... um something else. age i think. but you don't need an ID and you shouldn't need an ID for the sake of being ID'd
Your not understanding my point. I am not saying it's ok for them to do it. But even if they couldn't legally do so they could just outsource it to a private company and you'd never know it and it would cost you more since a profit motive is now in place. Since they are going to do it no matter what we want it might as well be cheap and transparent and we should have complete access to it. Under the current system we have no access to privately collected data about us.
Look. We are not americans. We dont want to be, especially for what is to come in the next 10y. We just get confused on how you guys can be so controlled by your media and still believe you live in the best country in the world. Ofc if you believe that, you dont take lessons/tips from foreigns.
C'mon, Minnesota! Shame on you for our governor Pawlenty veto this barringReal ID bill! I will move to Illinois for good! If Iowa or Wisconsin has barringfrom Real-ID, I will be moving from nearest our state.

Wow, Illinois rejected it. Must be for financial reasons, not moral.

Crist ran on a platform supporting RealID. No way we're getting on the opposition list.
