Couldn't you make a iMovie with just the DRM'd song, save it, and strip the audio? No idea how/if it would work..but it makes sense to me

True, you can't break it, because it's already broken! I tried Fair Game, and while it looks like a clever solution, I followed the use instructions carefully, enabling assistive devices and placing movies in timeline, and I got an Applescript error when I tried to convert one song. Sigh...
