I always knew that this could be done from messing with Digg's source code for other purposes... I'm just happy that someone has actually took the time to do it since I'm too lazy to do it myself. Thanks!

The digg login actually appears to be an IFRAME element coming directly from digg. Since I store passwords in my Firefox, it detected that it was the real digg asking for my password and filled the info in - it doesn't look like his script genuinely asks for your digg password.

What gives doesn't really work on Safari. I mean sure I have FF but I also like using Safari, for leisure browsing.

Yeah. Some source code would be cool to look at.

"dbxz, that wont' work right -- as frameLoaded is a function defined elsewhere in the script, that's why I made the generator page so that you can follow a form to get a digg button."haha its odd cause... it works anyway... =)

hey gadgetsguy, I have the same question - I haven't figured out how to prevent that from happening
edantzerMay 11, 2006

crazyguyMay 13, 2006

There`s another way.I`ve submitted a digg story:<a class="user" href="http://digg.com/software/Put_a_live_Digg_button_on_your_website,_part_2">http://digg.com/software/Put_a_live_Digg_button_on_your_website,_part_2</a>Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Anyone figure out the tags used so someone could write CSS for it? I don't like the Times New Roman font it uses and want to change that

This code works fine for me! Just did a test page on my dev server for a random story on the front page, got the button with the current number of diggs, clicked it to digg and it did so. It does redirect the page though...

Here's the workaround to that... :)<a class="user" href="http://diggbutton.blogspot.com/">http://diggbutton.blogspot.com/</a>

Digg Button use postURL instead of diggURL <a class="user" href="http://winend.com/digg/digg-button-service.html">http://winend.com/digg/digg-button-service.html</a> It's the easiest way to add digg button!! It's a wonderful work! Add your digg button just need you include one line code and don't need to do any other thing, it can be used for any website including Blogger! I forecast every website and blog site will use this free digg button in the near future!!!
kwavedesignFeb 6, 2008
please don't add any comments for iframe scripts. This can seriously hurt your seo ranking. Which is more important then showing the Digg button.
kwavedesignFeb 6, 2008
also the link for the article is not working!!
