This is exactly why the argument -- 'if your not doing anything illegal, then you don't need to worry about government spying' -- holds no water. The fact that political activists and protesters are now finding their way onto terror watch lists should be triggering serious alarm bells in people's minds. Even small isolated incidents of this must be exposed and harshly decried. If we don't stand up for our rights no one else will. The former state police superintendent who authorized the operation said "I don't believe the First Amendment is any guarantee to those who wish to disrupt the government"The follow up question must be: "Do you consider my plans to march on Washington in order to stop congress from passing more Wall Street Bailout Bulls**t legislation as a wish to disrupt the government?"

This one Hutchins was one too many. I'm EXTREMELY happy to see that he was "the former" police superintendent.
