truthout.org — Good critique by progressive writer and activist Norman Solomon, of how counterproductive it is for progressives to dismiss Obama and oppose his candidacy because he is not obeying their non-party line. I would add that neo-cons who don't trust McCain are not making the same mistake.

Digg it, it's by a nationally recognized progressive who is a Delegate for Obama at the Convention this year. It's time we all work - not just gab - together to make Obama President. We can criticize and organize more for what we want in the eight years we'll give him after. When in doubt, imagine another eight years of Rove-Rule!

There's nothing stupider than the "All-Or-Nothing" approach. Demand 100%, settle for 50% and then once he's in office ... demand 100% settle for 75%. Then next time he needs something, demand 100%, settle for 87.5% ... etc. That's called "winning".
