video.yahoo.com— This 12-year-old female basketball prodigy won't be playing with the boys. The private league created a new rule that prevented her from playing with her team. Great injustice.

A little exaggerated isn't it? She is over a foot taller then all of those guys. If she were just a little better then I don't think it would have been an issue, but obviously she is way better then any boy at that height and age could be. Normally if a person is that much better then their current age group they would move them up and that person would not continue to play with that age group. It's about fun at that age and how much fun can you have when all your shots are swatted away by the giant girl.
ryanhgqu- This argument that it's awkward to play with a girl is such a red herring. Why should she have to leave because some of the boys feel uncomfortable? It's some sort of reverse chivalry that reeks of bulls**t.I agree it's kind of like throwing the smart kids out of schools because they learn to much...as for all the smart asses on the digg boards this story is about a young girl who in fact is being discriminated against at the earliest of ages. But then again someone should have told all of you psychos when you were 13 you were going to be a bunch of deviant losers and perhaps we "the logical users' of Digg wouldn't have to put up with your crap! Holy Crap it's getting like G4 around here do you hear me @jlouderb @kevinrose let's not lose what we got away from fellas...
