nytimes.com — We’re now in the midst of an epic financial crisis which ought to be at the center of the election debate. But it isnt. I can only speak to the Democratic side of it, but frankly, they are both talking about the economy. Unfortunately, it has been drowned out in all of the bulls**t.Obama spoke in detail on the anniversary of the war in Iraq on the way that the war has affected our economy and on the absurdity of cutting taxes during wartime.
