Come on, don't get too excited. This story is over a year old. They're talking about House Speaker Dennis Hassert and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. They've been gone since the Nov 2006 election.
You're assuming I'll vote only on the Libertarian ticket. In fact, I vote for the candidate I feel is the best candidate. I don't vote along party lines, I don't vote only for those candidates "everyone else" might vote for, and I don't vote for candidates just because they're someone else's favorite.Do you?
He wouldn't have to. Head-of-state immunity protects him with regards to any official acts. Anything relating to the war would be considered an official act.And no one can pardon themselves. It has to be the subsequent office-holder.
Why has the mainstream media not mentioned this, for more than 2 minute clip at 3 pm on a working day? This should be on the FRONT PAGE of the NYT, WSJ, LAT, and Chicago Tribue--- too bad none of these newspapers have the balls to bring this story to the forefront. They are all run by the same corporate interests that have plagued this country for the last 7 years.

Absolutely nothing El Presidente Bush does surprises me. As we all know, he is above the law.
