youtube.com — The film starts on a picnic blanket in Chicago and zooms out 10x every 10 seconds until the entire universe is visible. And then they zoom all the way back down into the nucleus of an atom. A timeless classic.

My God, I saw this 2 maybe 3 years ago. I think digg needs a separate page for stories that have already come and gone from the front page once before.Again, someone ignored the "Duplicate Story" page and clicked submit anyhow.

I first saw this when I was a kid back in the early '80s at my local science center. It's good to revisit this every so often.;) There's also an "updated" (as in CGI) version floating around on the net that pulls back from a leaf on a tree somewhere in Florida. But dirtyfratboy was right; this has been on Digg before, so it's old news/a dupe. If this had been the Simpsons spoof that DigiDave linked to, I would've dugg it.;)

I like the Simpson version better!

The problem with that is that the kind of people who really believe that we're alone, are the kind of people who will just see this video as a bunch of pretty dots. Some people just have no ability to recognize the stupidity of their opinion.

How to print infinity to screen with C :--------------------#include #include using namespace std;// allocate raw memoryrm::raw* = 0x00000a;int main(){ while (true) // infinite loop { *x ; // increment raw memory value } cout << x; // output result return(0);}----------------------------Unfortunately, it's just going to overwrite my ramdisk and trigger a BSOD when it hits anything valuable, or maybe even its own code...

This was from the 70s. I saw this in science class, digg only because it has way better sound quality
