gamespot.com— Suspend your power supply in the air. Kind of funny seeing as how the original Xbox's had power cord problems too.

If its having problems with the power unit so soon, imagine down the road in like 2 or 3 years....ridiculous. MS better get on the ball because this kinda stuff isnt making potential buyers like myself feel very excited about shelling out 400+ dollars for their system.
This is sorta good news, for now. If you don't know, the more heat wires/traces are under, the less power that will run though them. In other words; the mo heat yo have, the more power will be lost to heat yo.The power supply loses power to heat, which makes less power for the system. It would kind of make since, but that still doesn't explain the graphic glitches in my mine. I mean, if it didn't have enough power to work, then it wouldn't... Every video card I had created glitches do to heat, not power loss.
To me, I think it's just the overall design of the 350 which might be flawed, It's so thin that it doesn't provide enough airflow to cool down the unit inside.
I think you are correct!!! I got my 360 and one to sell... I tested mine and got 3 flashing red lights!!! XBox had no idea what was going on and said it was a problem with the 360... I thought to myself this is not possible, and opened the other 360 up! I tested both power supplies... The XBox that I was selling worked with its power supply so I tested that power supply on my XBox and guess what it worked!!! I called XBox back and informed them of the new info... They didn't seem the least be interested in what I had to say... But informed me that a new power supply would be in the mail... Not happy with spending $400.00 on a bad XBox 360 and not wanting to weight for 7 days to get my new power supply I asked if there was any way to get it to me faster they said no!!! Also XBox customer service sucked!!! They did no trouble shooting of any kind just said its a bad XBox 360!!! I'm ready to take it back to the store and get my money back!!! If the new power supply does not work I'm going to take it back faster then you can say XBox 360 SUCKS!!!
