China having a single national history of 4000 years is one part of China's government propaganda. Anyone who knows even the tiniest bit of history in Asia knows that China was made up of countless kingdoms speaking hundreds of different languages and even more dialects. People like the Manchu's, Koreans, Mongolians, and countless more inside what is now China were considered different races amongst even the Chinese themselves. Through thousands of years of constant brutal war, slavery, sieges, etc, they were eventually brought together under an iron fist. China's government says the wars were the result of the Chinese wanting to be together.
