No kidding, they ratified the Constitution and bill of rights, including that 10th amendment. We don't need a poll to tell us this. Has anybody else noticed that the Dems and Repubs are looking more and more alike? I say we fire both parties and consider 3rd parties.Pay attention to what politicians have done in the past - their campaign rhetoric is meaningless, but past actions are a very good indicator of what they will do if (re) elected.
read; "Lies my teacher told me" - James W. Loewen "A peoples History of the United States" - Howard Zinn"On the civil duty of disobedience" - Henry David Thoreau Realize we are still, right on track.
Thats only half true. They were up in arms over the "extremely" high taxes applied through the stamp act, at least as a tipping point. They generally were not against taxes, however the rates in which they were taxes was substantially less than we are now taxed. Even with representation I'd be willing to bet if they were paying as much in taxes as we pay now they would have still have revolted.
