The problem with the public is that it consists of all those people :)While I'll submit that the best decisions and actions are not always the most popular, I think the true frustration stems from the sense of helplessness that we all feel. What can we do? How is our money being spent? Where is the transparency we were promised?

Maybe if Congress had spent some actual time researching the problem and thoroughly discussing it before blindly ramming through this piece of crap bill, people wouldn't be so angry. Alternatively, had they listened to the people OR followed the Constitution, it would be a non-issue since there wouldn't have been a bill at all.

People need to get pissed at the ones who are taking our dollars and giving them to AIG. AIG is like a 5 year old with a credit card. It's our Congress who gave them our money without guidelines on how to use it.

The Frank Bill, HR 384 passed the House on Jan 22 and it waiting for Republican support in the Senate. Much tougher and far more comprehensive.Tell your Senator to support this or vote the Bum out!

The problem thee,as i see it is the people who would actually do something about this mess will not be selected to win because there is a vested interest in keeping things just as they are.The whole thing is rigged from the get go...ONLY those who will push those with the real power's agenda will be pre selected to run. And then the media will do their little spin so the two those in power want rise to the top and we select one. It does not matter which, since neither will answer to those who voted them in anyway. It's such a farce.
